We carry a selection of veterinarian-approved health products and supplements for dogs and cats, available directly from our clinic. This includes parasite preventives, veterinary-grade nutritional supplements, joint support products, dental hygiene products, and select therapeutic diet options. Having products available on-site means you can start a care plan immediately after your appointment rather than sourcing products separately. Our team will advise you on appropriate options for your pet's specific health status and will not recommend products that are not needed.
When your pet's condition requires a level of expertise or equipment beyond our scope, we coordinate referrals to board-certified veterinary specialists. Our referral network includes specialists in cardiology, internal medicine, oncology, orthopedics, dermatology, and ophthalmology. We prepare a detailed summary of our findings, imaging, and history for the specialist before your appointment and remain involved in your pet's care throughout. Specialist referral does not mean we are stepping back. It means we are making sure your pet gets exactly the right level of care for their situation.
Some conditions require in-patient monitoring and care over a period of hours or days rather than a single visit. We provide hospitalization for pets requiring intravenous fluid support, post-surgical observation, intensive monitoring for acute illness, or management of conditions such as diabetic crises, severe infections, or post-procedural recovery that cannot be safely managed at home. Our team monitors hospitalized patients closely throughout the day and will keep you updated on your pet's progress. We discuss the care plan, expected duration, and communication schedule with you from the start.
Diabetic dogs and cats require regular glucose monitoring to confirm that their management plan is keeping their blood sugar within an appropriate range. We offer in-house glucose testing as a convenient option for pets on insulin, allowing monitoring visits to occur without requiring a full appointment in every case. We also work with owners on establishing home glucose monitoring routines where appropriate, and provide clear guidance on how to recognize and respond to hypoglycemia or episodes of elevated blood sugar between scheduled visits.
